Down

October 21, 2009

Been a bit ill as of late.. perhaps the absence of work has brought it up. Though I’m occupying myself as much as I can with painting, writing and looking for jobs, day after day.

I’ve been reading a lot too recently. Got back into the Sandra Brown novels that I used to read during sec school (and discovered to my horror she writes explicit scenes -.-) found a new author to haunt – Paige Toon, uprising chick lit author in the making, though her 3 books have similar plots they are engaging and funny. She obviously likes Singapore from the mention of it in the first book and the third one (F1 night race)

An old sec school friend got engaged over the weekend, and it was a mini reunion for Canberrans that day. I love your dress Waty omg. Can’t wait for your wedding aite? ;) After that we went to chill out at Coffeebean and talked of old times. Isn’t it funny how you never thought you’d hang out with these bunch of people during your school years and when we meet up everyone is grown and all that teenage awkwardness has gone. I’m glad I enjoyed those teenage years. Now it’s the start of a new chapter, young adults. Speaking of which, we MUST go overseas together. Being 21 means responsibilities, but also freedom. And the right to vote. And I know who I’m going to vote for.

No prizes for guessing. Coffee’s getting cold. Till then.
